Safety Guidelines

Nsafero is built around trust and safety. These guidelines help Trip Hosts and Travelers use the platform responsibly.

For Travelers

• Check the Shared Trip details before requesting a seat.
• Use verified Trip Hosts where possible.
• Do not share sensitive personal information unnecessarily.
• Use the Safety Case feature if something feels wrong.
• Respect women-only Shared Trip rules.
• Cancel your Seat Request if you can no longer travel.

For Trip Hosts

• Offer seats only for trips you already plan to take.
• Keep Shared Trip information accurate.
• Do not offer taxi-like or commercial transport.
• Accept only the number of Travelers you can safely host.
• Respect women-only Shared Trip rules.
• Cancel the Shared Trip if plans change.

Women-only Shared Trips

• Women-only Shared Trips are designed for additional comfort and trust.
• Only verified female Travelers can request seats on women-only Shared Trips.
• Only verified female Trip Hosts can offer women-only Shared Trips.
• Guests and non-verified users may only see limited preview information.

Reporting and Safety Cases

• Users can open Safety Cases to report concerns about a trip, a user, or a Seat Request.
• Admins and moderators review reports and take appropriate action.
• Internal notes on Safety Cases are private and not shown to other users.
• User-visible updates and resolution messages may be shown in My Safety Cases.
